You can practise every test route from your chosen centre. You may wish to chose the centre closest to you for convenience, or the one with the highest pass rate.

2. Choose Your Plan

Choose a subscription plan direct from the app through either the App Store of the Play Store, after which you can begin practising your routes immediately in preparation of your test.

All downloaded routes will be the latest updated versions, so you know you're practising real, accurate test routes proven to help you pass your Final test.

3. Choose a Route Preview

Browse all the available routes from your chosen VTNZ or AA Centre by simply cycling through the route previews.

From the overviews you can choose which route to practise first on your journey to a full licence.

You may simply wish to start at Route 01 and work your way through the list, or practise more complicated routes first for added confidence when it comes to test day.

Our app will compliment your practice schedule perfectly.

Now you've chosen a route to practise, the app will guide you step-by-step through the local roads with clear navigational instructions and crisp mapping.

To ensure our GPS route guidance is accurate and reliable at all times, we use the same Mapbox satnav technology used by Samsung, Facebook and Porsche!

  • Yes. We are the only provider of New Zealand driving test routes on the market that uses live GPS recordings of actual tests (when full permission given) along with our close work with driving instructors to ensure the routes provided are fully accurate.

    As a result of this, we can update the routes the moment any changes are noted such as roadworks, closures or diversions.

  • We check the routes continuously via GPS tracking and feedback from instructors, and update them the moment we are alerted to any changes.

    All route updates are automatically applied to your account at no extra charge.

  • In order for the GPS navigation to accurately track your progress along the route you will need internet access or mobile data during your drive.

  • Our app covers all regions throughout New Zealand and we have routes for all AA and VTNZ centres.

    In the unlikely event we don't have your test centre covered, get in touch and we will be sure to add it in.

  • Yes, the live map navigation will display the current speed limit of the road you are on. This is great for practicing, however you should not rely on the app to regulate your speed but rather learn to look at speed limit signs.

  • The app will help you with your manoeuvres indirectly, by helping you become familiar and confident driving the roads that will feature on your test.

    You can practise manoeuvres along the routes knowing these are the likely locations where they will take place.
